An independent evaluation of PCCC's STEM TRACS program, designed to increase enrollment, completion, and transfer for students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. The summative assessment includes a quasi-experimental study of STEM Explorers Academy participants meeting What Works Clearinghouse Evidence Standards with reservations, alongside a longitudinal comparison against a three-year benchmark cohort. Formative feedback draws on annual interviews and focus groups with students, staff, and faculty, supplemented by survey data collected from all STEM Explorer Academy cohorts at two points in time. Amber worked on this evaluation as a Senior Research Associate at DVP-PRAXIS LTD (now Higher Ed Insight).
